I'll be there early. I'll be the guy smoking in his green minivan. ;o)

I know for a fact Gordon and Connie Bickel will NOT be going to state convention, they have another activity to attend. You can probably figure the County Chair Bill LeBre and his wife will go, they too are precinct delegates and Victor Fitz usually attends. Don't forget, it is also important to be an alternate delegate, you never know if you may end up with full voting credentials.

Comment by susan on August 11, 2010 at 10:40pm: I absolutely want to attend convention. I ran and campaigned to get elected and I did get enough votes and have a certificate (proud of it). VOTE for me also please.

Comment by Diane Konneck on August 11, 2010 at 3:16pm: It is not true the local GOP are the only ones who can vote, ALL of the duly elected and SEATED precinct delgates vote on who attends the state convention. In other words if you are precinct delegate and you DO NOT attend the county convention on the 12th you cannot be selected to go to state, but if you ARE there and put yourself down to go to state you will stand the chance of being elected to attend. It is important that even if our TPP elected precinct delegates attend so they may vote, even if they, themselves cannot attend the state convention!

Comment by susan on August 11, 2010 at 7:33am: Unfortunately I have been enlightened, that just because you are voted in for delegate, you may not go to State. The local GOP will decide who goes. So that could be stacked in advance of the meeting Thursday. They will have voting, and only members of the GOP can vote.
