ConCon Townhall Meeting

Here's a great opportunity to learn more about the Constitutional Convention Proposal appearing on the ballot next week!

The Southwest Michigan Tea Party Patriots are sponsoring a Townhall meeting on the pros and cons of passage of Proposal 10-1, the Proposal calling for a State Constitutional Convention, and the importance of the Constitutionally mandated offices of Secretary of State, Attorney General and the University Regents.

The meeting will take place on October 28th, 2010 from 7-9pm at the Fetzer Center on WMU’s Campus.
Scheduled speakers include: Dr. Peter Wielhouwer, Professor, Political Science Department at WMU on Constitutionally mandated offices, Dennis Lennox spokesman from ‘Yes on Prop 1’ speaking for Prop 1., and a representative from the Political Action Committee of the Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce speaking in opposition to Prop 1. A question and answer panel will follow the speakers.
