FREE LUNCH!

Now that I have your attention: We are looking for 10 to 15 folks who can spare time on Dec. 15th to help out with our 'A Kalamazoo Christmas' effort.

On the 15th we plan on moving all the coats, gloves, hats, toys, blankets, etc from the sorting center to Stockbridge Ave. UMC so that they can complete preparation of the church for the event on Sunday the 18th.

None of it is heavy lifting, but lots of hands make for light work, eh? We should be able to load out at 10am, re-assemble at SAUMC around noon for lunch and then unload.

Oh, the lunch is from Noodles & Company on West Main. Be sure and thank them for the donation!

If you are in the Kalamazoo area, please consider a gift of your time to our community, you will be blessed for it.

I was very impressed with the large volume of nice items we were blessed with helping to get moved to the Church location today. It was hard work but with many helping hands it was enjoyable and I am so glad I attended this event. "A Kalamazoo Christmas" will be such a Blessing to so many who might otherwise go with out. Having the stars of the WMU football team serve us a meal was really special too!

Thank you Tom Seelbinder for the use of that truck depicted in the pic below. Between Tony Dugal's driving and my instructions, we were able to keep from taking out that brick wall by about an inch. Whoa!!!

Glad to say I can attend the main event! I hope many will be involved in the moving and preparation. What a fun and rewarding experience!

Wish I could be there to help. I still don't know my work schedule for the big day!
