I spoke with Lorence Wenke (running for State Senator) for an hour today (he had one of his "stop & talk" stations set-up along Stadium Dr.). So I stopped and we talked. I invited him to our 7/4 rally. His response was, "I hope you don't have any politicians speaking." Wow, he's right. We should NOT have any "politicians" (currently in office...or running) on the stage. I believe we all agreed to this...but I recall we may have invited one or more politicians to speak at our rally. This should NOT happen. Once we go down this road, once we give a "politician" this public platform, we can no longer claim to NOT be a political party, to NOT endorse certain candidates, to be a non-partisan, grass-roots organization. It's late to make changes to our speaker line-up...but, if we've invited a "politician" to speak, perhaps rescind the invitation? (I don't think we should allow any one to announce their candidacy from the dais).

Plan on being there! Excited to go and inviting family to come along, I hope it is a gathering that reflects the celebration of our liberty and independence on this very appropriate holiday...

Will you have a speaker? We wish we could attend our local big rally but will be on Vacation in your area. If we don't make it I hope you all the best in your party and hope we can make a difference in reducing the government "density":)

Ken & I will be there by 5:00 to help set up after attending the Lansing rally earlier in the afternoon. Wow! This should be one of the busiest, but GREATEST 4th's we've ever had! Especially if we ALL remember to ask (and then thank) the Lord God to be right there in everything we say and do as we take on this battle for our country!

There is no comparison between that which is lost by not succeeding and that which is lost by not trying.........

Who would ever have thought, we would be here. Certainly, I never expected it.
I've followed the federal Gov. for twenty plus years. Had plenty to complain about.
What we have experienced in the past several months has instilled in me, the need to look deep. To go beyond my lacking education, to find out how all this came about. All I can say is, Thank you, to everbody that partisipates in any way they can.
We have a patriotic task at hand that WILL be writen in history ( once they get past the progressive interpretation).
We ARE history, if we have the courage to make it.
There were some pretty smart individuals long ago, that did thier best to give us an opportunity. I look at what they endoured to achieve this for us, and I am humbled.
For the american people to negate their responcibility to protect our cherished past, would break my heart. I know that I... am far from alone!
God Bless All Who Endeavor.
