We celebrate Juneteenth to encourage a continuum of self reliance, excellence, and achievement without bounds. Standards which have been partially lost in distressed urban communities. We intend to use this celebration to advance the values of family and personal responsibility.
The Frederick Douglass Foundation of Michigan (TFDF of MI) is a Christian conservative organization that believes in American values that preserve our national strength and pride. It is our position to retain the principles of equal rights, justice, and opportunity for all through collaborations with pro-active individuals, elected officials, scholars and community activists. We believe in moral, ethical and spiritual representation as it pertains to the individual with an emphasis on pro-life choices and traditional marriage.
