Event Description

We need to support Commissioner Stinchcomb in his quest to have the issue of incorrect evaluation of property in Kalamazoo County brought to the forefront. Preliminary investigation seems to indicate that values are greatly overstated and should be reduced and therefore taxes reduced. This has potential to be a huge revenue problem across the state. If you live in the area, please attend to show citizen support of Commissioner Stinchcomb and the others who want further investigation.

Paul, I believe it will be under new business.

I am interested in attending, as I beleive in appropriate taxation.

Question: Is this "new" business on the commission's agenda? I would rather know the approximate sequence for presentation of this topic.

Note that I have added two files that you may want to print out and look over before the meeting (2 or 3 pages each).  Just click on the urls and you will download them.
