Event Description

Rally at Friendship Park, corner of N.E. Capital and State St. starting at 11am. Speakers are:

o Patrick Henry, an intoduction
o Linda Lee Tarver, MI-GOP Ethnic V. Chair
o Stacy Swimp, President FDF-MI
o Tim Walberg, US Rep. 7th MI District
o Jase Bolger, Speaker MI House
o Steve France, TEA Party Patriots of Calhoun Co.

There will be lunch served at 12:45 at the Burnham Brooks Center near the park. We will have a TEA Party meeting starting at 1:05 pm. It will feature:

o A reenactment of Patrick Henry's "Give me Liberty" speech.
o Updates from the various county TEA Parties
o A presentation about Certified Emergency Responder Training
o Presentation of our new TeaPAC and how we will use it.

So, come for both events, or either one as your time permits. If you come for both we recommend that you park at the Burnham Brook Center to save time.

However, if you have several children or other guests that you would like to bring, do not be discouraged, we will order and serve pizza depending on how many sign up. Some folks will drop a fifty in the donation jar, others maybe a five or nothing if they cannot afford it. However, you do not want to miss the announcements, the fellowship of other patriots and Patrick Henry!

Please go to this web page and register for lunch, print and bring your ticket if you intend to attend the afternoon meeting. We need a count for lunch. We are suggesting a $10 per person, $15 per couple donation to help defray event costs.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure." Blood? Manure? Sounds like my kind of party.
