This is a rally to support spending cuts (vs tax increases) to balance Michigan's budget over the next two years. There will also be a rally in Lansing the same day in support of "Worker Solidarity". If you are curious go to:

Comment by Gene Clem on February 21, 2011 at 7:38pm Just got back from Meijer run. They & Walgreens are the only one on the corner of 9th and W. Main with power. The run down M43 was in the black until Meijer, no traffic lights at the intersection.
However, the roads were passable. I plan on being at Perkins at 0700!
