Event Description

This meeting is about the youth who hold the key to the future of our country. Better yet, it's a narrative on how we adults and seniors, as a generation, failed our children and grandchildren by waiting too long to wake up and get involved. It may be too late for many of us, but not too late for them to save our country. Amy Jayne Hawkins will speak on September 8th. Amy is the Executive Director of Citizens for Traditional Values. Your assignment: Bring an 18-25 year old.

Newt Gingrich and Machelle Backman won the debate for me last night.  Both are articulate, both have the right idea's, both are not affraid of the media or Obama, and both have what "I" want.  The media clearly want Perry and Romney because they are both establichment polititions that cannot compete with the media or Obama.  The media are going to say the Perry and Romney are the front runners, but they do not get to pick our nominies; we do!

It's not me to think of myself as an old foggie, however I made enough trip around Solar to possibly be in that category.  Do to the nature of my journey I have met all walks of life up close and personal.  The majority of my generation ain't changing their minds; they don't live Liberal, but they drank the sweetened colored water and they are passionate to the point of dgmatism.  Too bad too; these are smart people that simply will not change their mind no matter what and they are going to vote the mob way; they blame the Repubulicans and will not back down; they refuse to see the root problem.  I had a debate with a very close friend yesterday and he blames big business and will not divert from that hatred.  He concedes the government is the problem, but believes the governments strings are being pulled by big business and there ain't no changing this picture for him.  The problem is he is right on so many levels, but he will not take the next step to see the bigger picture.  There are many out there that are just like him and no matter what we do these people will not see the root cause.  They are right about many things that they hang onto and refuse to vote conservative.  My generation is the end of Vietnam and hippy wannabees; some of us grew to be conservatives and the others grew up to vote democratic.

Sorry about that. Going to meet Amy early and get a bite to eat. Got time for that? And I need an update about the Liberty Tree Gathering for the group. Thanks

Stephanie, After 5:00 pm you don't need to put coins in the parking meters. Parking is free after 5 in Kalamazoo. Please bring your graphic depicting Van Kal Tea Party Patriots.

Ive never been a city person until I moved 2 years ago.   This is embarrassing but I don't even know how to pay for parking on the side of the street.  Don't you have to pay for any parking over their?  Otherwise I would love to go since I can bring up ideas for the graphics.
