Liberty and Freedom

Our Forefathers, with a lot of deligent work and prayer, wrote The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of Our Country, and Bill of Rights.  These documents are the foundation of the United States of America.  This is the cake, the rest is just icing on the cake.  Nothing should ever out shine the original documents.

We are like no other country.  We were founded on the love for freedom.  Our Forefathers had the understanding, dedication, sacrifice, knowledge, and the wisdom of God.  They put in motion a very special country that would seek people from all over the world to form a melting pot in its truest sense.  For decades we have lost the compass of our country.

We are now a country of laws not a country of rights..  Seventy five percent or more of these laws are not needed.  This is big government out of control.  We need to clean house and get rid of many laws.  Many departments of the government need to be desolved and others condensed into one.  There is way tooooo much government, federal, state, and local.

Our Forefathers understood this very well, that is why their documents are brief and to the point.  We can change this country and move it into a more productive, free enterprise system, based on people, not government.   Government does not make money, businesses do by hiring people and paying them to produce a product.  Government has NO PRODUCT!!!!

WHEN WILL PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT THE BACKBONE OF THIS COUNTRY IS BUSINESS!!!!  LET'S TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK FROM BIG GOVERNMENT!!!!

I would add two comments:

While many pro-government people like to bring out the quote, "A business' first responsiblity is to make money" (poorly paraphrased) they convieniently over look the fact that the business was started by an individual to help other people. If a business doesn't help people then it doesn't exist very long. (Side note, the bigger a company gets the less concerned it becomes about any one customer but it never becomes exempt from providing help.)

I hear a lot of attacks against corporate profits. But practically speaking, profit should be replaced with retirement. Afterall, that's the money that funds almost everyone's retirement. Whether it's a 401k or a pension, corporate profits drive the value of those investements.

Respectfully submitted,
