This is for discussion purposes. Since Ron Paul received 115,662 votes out of 980,012 there is a lot of convincing as to the benefits to his presidency that is yet required.

As of March 1, 2012 the Michigan Republican Party is reporting the following statewide vote totals for each candidate:
Bachmann: 1,734 (0.18%)
Cain: 1,214 (0.12%)
Gingrich: 64,065 (6.54%)
Huntsman: 1,705 (0.17%)
Johnson: 487 (0.05%)
Karger: 1,162 (0.12%)
Paul: 115,662 (11.80%)
Perry: 1,811 (0.18%)
Roemer: 1,807 (0.18%)
Romney: 400,478 (40.86%)
Santorum: 371,639 (37.92%)
Undeclared: 18,248 (1.86%)

Don, I'll tell you what's required. The News has got to tell the TRUTH all the time not just when it fits their OWN agenda. The news has said OVER & OVER & OVER.........Paul CANNOT WIN he CANNOT WIN he CANNOT WIN........It's been proven that when someone hears something AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN They tend to believe it ...Like hypnotism..........

The NEWS MEDIA, as everyone knows, is run by someone much bigger than we are and if it does NOT want you to know something, they simply DON'T tell you..........Then if you find the news out somewhere else they ridicule YOU and then remove your source example: Internet. Ever heard of SOPA ?

The reason the media and our RULERS don't want Ron Paul in office is because is not ONLY a candidate for president, HE IS A MOVEMENT FOR LIBERTY AND THE CONSTITUTION............The powers that be WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET HIM OUT OF THE WAY !! In other words he WILL NOT BE THEIR "PUPPET"
