Southwest MI Patriots

Liberty and Freedom

The vote on the Detroit Int'l River Crossing comes to the Michigan Senate within the next few weeks.

I just called John Proos office to find out how he is planning to vote.

His staff said he hasn't decided yet—there are a lot of issues to consider, it’s not cut and dried, etc. That’s either political doublespeak or another way of saying he is voting for it.  We need a CLEAR answer.

Americans For Prosperity estimates the DIRC taxpayer cost at 620 mill. The state is already 1.4 BILL in debt.

Not the time for unnecessary tax-sponsored projects (is there ever a “good” time for that?!). We need PRIVATE sector jobs--NOT public.
