Election Day Operation Volunteers

There has been much in the news the past few weeks about voter fraud. This huge project to steal voter registration forms was reported just a couple of days ago (Click Here).

Remember in 2010 when many of us volunteered to be poll challengers, well the stakes are much higher in 2012 and more of us will be needed than ever before. Thankfully the Tea Party can ride to the rescue. The Michigan GOP is asking for our help. We received this request from Kim Jorns, the MRP chief of staff last week:

Grassroots Leaders,

In preparation for this November’s election, the Romney for President Campaign has hired Samantha Dravis to head up the Election Day Operations (EDO). I know in the past many of you have given very generously of your time to volunteer for the EDO program by signing up to be a poll challenger, a runner, or volunteer in the war room. Thank you for your past support.

We will, again, be calling upon you to volunteer in 2012. Samantha is putting the EDO program together as we speak and lining up everything we will need to be successful in November. As the details become available, we want to be able to share them with those of you interested in once again volunteering for the EDO program.

Since then the operation has been moved to a joint effort between the Romney campaign, the MRP and several Tea Party organizers are closely affiliated.
