Feels good to do your national duty...After all it is one of the last vestiges of power the people still have. The power of the vote! Needless to say I'll be checking the box for Mel...can you imagine the look on Upton's face if he pulls off an upset? Priceless! No need to roll up those sleeves after all Fred...I'm sure there is a lobyist job waiting in the wings for another lost "insider". Tell Arlen Specter I said Hi....LOL!!!

It DOES feel good to work for an upset and to bring a newcomer to DC, especially Mel Valkner! What a message he sends!!!!

Discouraged that Mel didn't win. Upton won the race because of "uneducated" voters who vote by name recognition only.

Personally I think Mel is a good guy with some good ideas. But why didn't he run in the Republican Primary? If he did, my bad. I applaude the independent thinking of the Tea Party. Yea for us! But this kind of thinking allows the other side to win. We must learn, as the other side has, we MUST band together if we are to turn win elections. Is Fred Upton the best candidate? I say NO, but Fred signed a conservative agreement that Dr. Scott Davis put in front of him. Fred is better than the opponent. We need to hold his feet to the fire. Last night is a great victory for the Tea Party, a GREAT VICTORY. Now the candidates and the tea party needs to go to work. Lets look to 2012 and see how we can take back more of America. Yea, for all of us!!!

Mel did no run because someone else did and he had to declare the Taxpayer Party ie Constitutional Party to have a spot to run.

I will now close this discussion, but remember, we NEVER MUST EVER VOTE FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS AGAIN. WE must have the choice between the TWO BEST CONSERVATIVES. If ever forced to vote for 2 evils, we must have a write in and if no one will be the write in, you just write in GOD.
