Planning session for Rally April 15th

We will be having a planning meeting at the Cass County Library in Cassopolis on Monday, the 29th at 7 pm. I have tried to notify all those interested in helping, but want to extend an invite to anyone else who would also like to attend.

Diane, I have sent the Public Service Announcement for the rally to SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE AND INTERNET AND WSBT. I also sent it to WFRN RADIO AND FOX 28. I gave the rally website, Scott's name and phone # and my email address. Needed two weeks lead time, so had to go today.
The Cass County Southwest Michigan 912 Tea Party is having a big rally April 15.
The rally is scheduled from 4-7 PM at downtown Old Cassopolis, Michigan Courthouse.
If you are ready to stand up and be counted against out of control government, please join the rally April 15 from 4-7 PM in Cassopolis, Michigan.

Newspapers do have a section of upcoming events. I do not take Elkhart Truth anymore, but I remember the section. It was free. I suppose South Bend Tribune has one also. Does anyone take the Argus/Vigilent? Should I ask them if they have a section for events? It must be entered quickly, the Argus as I remember only comes out on Thursday?

Too hard on my little printer to print flyers. Do not count on me for flyers

Flena Rubacana (sp)? has run off 100 copies of the flyer, so far and I believe she will run another 100. I also can send thru email to anyone who can open WORD documents and they may feel free to print some more off on their own. What ya think?

i have been calling print shops: some do only black on white paper. 500 copies about $43.00. Another will do color at 49cents ea. That shop will do 500 pc. of black on white paper for about $34; 250 pc black on white for about $21. Probably add on 7% Indiana tax.

If someone can write me a advertising copy for the event, WFRN will review it and maybe put it on the radio as community event. Otherwise, give me the info you want included and I will write my own copy. Let me know quickly.

Hi Everybody, Please don't forget to bring what you have for fliers or handouts on Tuesday April 6. We can then distribute them around for others to copy or get the word out.
Chuck, when you get a moment, call me so we can talk about the agenda for Tuesday concerning the Rally. If possible, we need to keep it semi-concise to speed up the meeting, but our focus will be on having a great rally on the 15th.

I contacted (through email) WGTO Radio, Dowagiac, MI with the Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the rally. The website for station is:
http://www.wgtoradio.com We will see what happens. Adel Straub is the office manager. The station also has a segment titled "Talk of the Town". Maybe we could get on with our Teaparty message? This is the station with "Swap Shop", a popular segment that lets people call in to sell items.

I understand that a final Rally meeting will be held Monday, April 12, 2010, at 6:30 pm at the Cassopolis Library. Anyone wanting to attend this prepartory meetup, please plan to attend.
