Upcoming Town Hall Meetings

I have long believed that listening to and learning from the people is critical to being a true representative of the people, because the citizens of south central Michigan and America are the source of the good ideas and real world common sense that is lacking in Washington D.C.  If you have an opportunity, please attend one or more meetings to share your ideas and ask questions.  Please invite friends, family, and everyone you can think of to attend as we discuss the big challenges facing our nation and what we can do together to move America toward a better and brighter future.  Here are upcoming town hall meetings (we will have more in the coming weeks)

April 19 at 7pm: Burnham Brook Community Center (Dining Room), 200 W. Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek

Gubernatorial candidate and Sheriff Mike Bouchard will be joining me for a town hall meeting to discuss Michigan's economic challenges and federal and state policy ideas to turn Michigan's economy around.  I will focus on federal issues and Sheriff Bouchard will focus on state issues, and we welcome and encourage citizen participation.

 

April 21 at 7pm: Roxy Theater (soon to be Dawn Theatre), 52 S. Broad Street in Hillsdale

I will be hosting a town hall meeting on the need to repeal the government takeover of health care and replace with patient-centered, free-market solutions that will make health care more affordable.  Please join us on Wednesday evening.

 

 

 

April 26 at 6:30pm: Chelsea Clocktower, 320 N. Main Street in Chelsea

This town hall will focus on repealing and replacing the recently passed health care bill
