Southwest MI Patriots

Liberty and Freedom

A knock came at the door the other day and there was a man passing out Al Pscholka flyers. He's probably been at your door too. I gladly took one knowing he is our Republican candidate for MI 79th District State Rep. He was not the man I voted for, I voted for TEA Party endorsed Paul Peterson, but I was willing to give the flyer a good look. Unfortunately it was very disappointing and unimpressive. The entire brochure told me very little. In fact, it almost ticked me off. I would think that as a Republican running these days the burden would be on him to prove that he’s a Constitutional Conservative, not on me to cross my fingers and vote for him. I’m a Constitutional Conservative through and through and his brochure does NOT excite me in the least bit LIKE IT SHOULD. He’s either a RINO (Republican In Name Only) stretching for the Conservative vote, or he’s a RINO worried about the Moderates and Independents. In either case he is showing that HE IS NOT a Constitutional Conservative. No wonder he was backed by the also disappointing Upton Republican machine. Right now I can't vote for Pscholka or Upton. Isn't it about time these Republicans LEARNED THEIR LESSON? NOT ENOUGH VOTES might cause them to finally get the message. I say they have GOT TO GO. How about it Patriots? (Yes, I know what that means for the democrats, but again, these guys have GOT TO GO!)

You must vote for all Republicans in November. We have to weed out the progressives and cleanse the system with conservatives. We can hold their feet to the fire and the GOP will listen. If you dont vote for Upton, you are not seeing the big picture.
Todd Griffee is very aware of who he is. please reach out to Todd and get his opinion. Also, Jack H. may have some insight.
No brainer, Vote Mel Valkner! I refuse to vote for someone who is not the best candidate on the ballot! Just because he has an R next to his name means nothing. If it means Cooney wins because of it, so be it! At least I can sleep at night knowing I voted my concience. Fred is not conservative! It is Fred's type that have hijacked the Republican Party. They are all that is wrong with Government! Vote him out!
the tea party was based upon principles-not electibility. that is why we are a political action organization and not a political party. al represents everything that proos and upton represent-moderate and changing positions to gather more votes. the machine candidates were constantly stealing: slogans, speeches, positions, ect from jack, paul, and myself. i have personally witnessed every machine candidate change their position just to appease their audience. for example proos told a group he was for right to work-yet took contributions from a union. at least the democrats stayed on their position. remember that i'm a dues paying-card carrying member of the gop, but their conduct was inappropriate during the primary. the seat for the 80th and 79th house districts and the 21st and 20th senate districts were open. in other words, the gop was to treat every gop candidate equally-and that did not happen. i have witnessed gop members yelling at tea party members, ive seen state gop personelle ignore gop candidates and endorse machine candidates in the open. ive seen the berrien gop try to have a secret meeting to endorse machine candidates. ive seen the state gop not have me listed on their website as a gop candidate until days before the election. my advise is to be vigilant. the gop has won the primary, and see the tea party as weak and a way of getting more support. they are masters at divide and conqueor. keep your eyes open-follow your principles-and pray

The 'Perot effect' will be the end result of voting for 3rd party candidates. At least with somewhat more conservative candidates we have half a chance to take this country back. These are not stupid people, Upton, Proos, Pscholka, they are fully aware of what our movement means. They will get in line. For years we have had some good people in office who were struggling to make a difference but could not. Having a grassroots effort behind them now means they CAN move ahead. There is strength in numbers, heck it is even showing in the democrat party. A lot of them are beginning to jump ship to a more conservative bent! I would have loved for some other candidates to have won our primaries too but I am not going to throw my pragmatic sense out the window in order for me to feel all warm and fuzzy about my personal principles. The bigger picture is what is important and the bigger picture is we MUST take and hold offices with our available ELECTABLE candidates!
i understand your logic. my point is to be vigilant. these machine candidates will not willingly step in line. they were not waiting for the calvary(tea party) to arrive. they have a political agenda to stay in office and will say what it takes to get elected. i agree that these politicians are very smart and savy as well. their interests are self fulfilling. the job of the tea party is not neceassarily to get them elected. that is a personal choice. but it is the tea parties job to hold them accountable once they get elected. remeber that we are dealing with career politicians. remember that they work for us not vice versa

Your kidding yourself to think these entrenched RINO Progressives will fall in line. These are arrogant individuals who think they are invincible. They tell you a little of what you want to hear at election time and then act recklessly once elected. These are corrupted career politicians! Don't fall for it! We have the power to send them packing. A wasted vote is a vote for RINO Progressives!
