Planning session for Rally April 15th

We will be having a planning meeting at the Cass County Library in Cassopolis on Monday, the 29th at 7 pm. I have tried to notify all those interested in helping, but want to extend an invite to anyone else who would also like to attend.

I am unable to attend tongiht, but do want to be involved in planning the rally. Are you having any other sessions?

In regartds to the TEE shirt's what would we want on the front and on the back. I think I can get them done at our cost.

Hi Martin,
We will discuss this some more at the regular meeting on the 6th at the Jefferson Township hall and I also have reserved the meeting room at the Cass District Library for the 12th of April at 6:30 p.m. for a session just 3 days prior to the event. Otherwise phone calls and emails can keep us in touch with our progress. We will need people to distribute flyers all across the County and we also need plenty of sign makers so we can pass them out to others if they don't have their own. Day of event we need people to police the area watching out for inappropriate signs or any possible trouble makers. We still need a videographer, someone to film our event. Thanks for your volunteerism!

Cost sounds good to me! LOL As for what we want I can only voice my personal taste, I prefer a nice deep red or some color that really makes us stand out. I love the Thomas Paine quote as on the back of the Michiana 9/12 group, "It is the duty of every patriot to protect his country from its government." I am in favor of a big bright eagle perhaps on the front..something patriotic anyway. Please ask the others what they prefer also,

Hi Diane,
Did you get the flier updated so you can attach it to the website? I had a couple of calls from folks willing to print and start getting these out right away.
Tell Chuck that I posted a help request for advertising in the Leader, etc., and you should get that message.
Confirmed with the Church to borrow the sound eqp and podium. I also have a bunch of plastic stack chairs if he thinks we might need them.

Good to see you folks so active. Our state and country are depending on what we all are willing to do within the confines of our constitutional obligations.

Suggestions for advertising April 15th.

* Yard signs
* Posters on telephone poles
* Letters to the editor of the local newspaper
* Fliers in local establishments

These are effective and cheap.

i have been calling print shops: some do only black on white paper. 500 copies about $43.00. Another will do color at 49cents ea. That shop will do 500 pc. of black on white paper for about $34; 250 pc black on white for about $21. Probably add on 7% Indiana tax.

If someone can write me a advertising copy for the event, WFRN will review it and maybe put it on the radio as community event. Otherwise, give me the info you want included and I will write my own copy. Let me know quickly.
