Liberty and Freedom
Mr. Upton, as well as all other members of Congress take an oath of office to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States.
Please open (in MS Word) the letter from Mr. Upton, and do a word search on the word constitution.
After executing this search, word reports zero hits.
As usual, Mr Upton's response is unnecessarily long and full of wind.
Mr. Upton, could have (should have) simply said that..." I rise and vote against the bill because it is violation of the US Constitution, which I have pledged to defend and uphold." It violates the US Constitution in the following areas...At ths point, I offer a challenge to Mr. Upton to respond to my letter with a list of specific areas in which the bill is in violation of the Constituation; and then, explain why this reason and list of specific's are not included in his document.
I find it very disturbing, and completel break down in priority of thinking on the part of Mr. Upton.
