Mr. Buxton...Barry County TEA Party is and independent group affiliated with SWMITPP.  We currently have a g-mail site, but it is somewhat limited in its use.  Is there a chance we could set up an e-mail website for a reasonable costs that would parallel a quality site, but still be independent?

Thank you in advance for your response....Gary L. Munson...Barry County TEA Party.

I work at a Linux webhosting company, and have the opportunity to host a website and have a great deal of control over it. It's a thought.

I thought it would be a good idea to add the url swimpats.org to our site:
1. to redirect people who misspell our site,
2. to make it easier to direct people to our site,
3. to keep counterfeiters or sorosites (rhymes with parasites, sort of), from co-opting our message.
Just an idea.

Another very good site is the one for Northern Illinois Patriots at http://the912patriots.com/index.html.

One page I liked showed the Preambles for all 50 state constitutions at http://the912patriots.com/Christian_Nation.html. Each one acknowledges God.

Michigan's Preamble from 1908 reads, "We, the people of the State of Michigan, grateful to Almighty God for the blessings of freedom establish this Constitution. . ."

I just checked out the NW Indiana site. Wow. That's as complete and professional as any I've seen. Class act!

In another life, at least 100 years ago, I owned Womack Computer Systems, Inc., a software house in Charlotte, MI. I sold the business to the Vice-President who changed the name to Active River Computer Solutions. ARC is a going concern, located at the courthouse corner in downtown Charlotte, that hosts and develops websites in addition to their normal work (servicing PCs and supporting mainframe UNIX-based software). I could get a very good price---probably free---from ARC for us to host our website. I'd like to help out; I'm no good...but I've published a few websites.

Cheryl, pick out a date and time, post an event under the event tab and then use the "send message to group" link on this page to inform everyone of the meeting.

Yes, why not? Let's gather as much intel as we can, also how much they pay for it. Sites like ning/blogspot have limitations.... maybe that's fine since it is free, but ..? How expensive is expensive? Don''s wife, Cheryl, I think will be trying to coordinate some internet stuff... let's get her as much detail as we can, put it on here for her....

Wow. Their home page, and their entire site is great. They host their own site, instead of using the NING template (as we do). I suspect they use a standard "template" site design (as creating such a site from scratch would cost alot). Would you like me to contact their webmaster to get more info?
