I think that picking Ryan shows that Romney is serious about fixing spending, deficits, entitlements and cutting taxes to stimulate the economy.  It is time.  Can no longer be wishy/washy about it.  Give the American people a clear choice.

The bottom line is that the government is too big and too intrusive. Reduce the size and scope of the current government to coincide with the constitution and we can prosper and thrive as a free and wonderful country once again. We have the resources. We have the intellectual ability. We have the technology. And most of all we have the spirit. Just give us our freedom back and we can become all we were meant to be. If the United States Government adheres to the Constitution of the United States of America we will get our freedom back and everyone in this country will be free once again to pursue their own happiness.

The prohibition the government imposes on our ability to access our vast untapped resources not only inhibits our wealth creation, but also reduces our security. Every individual on this planet requires food, shelter, and security to survive. All three of these basic needs are being literally taken away from us by our own government.

The consfication of wealth from individuals in this country comes in many forms and taxes are only one of them. The laws prohibiting certain activities inhibits an individuals ability to produce wealth. Simply put there are two types of energy; potential energy and kinetic energy. We have an abundance of potential energy in this country which is easilly converted to kinetic energy. Kinetic energy is what drives our wealth building. The government prohibits us from tapping into the vast potential energy resources we have, thereby prohibiting our potential for wealth creation.

The frustrations I see all around me that seem to be getting worse are not caused by the hard working individuals of this country, but rather by the ever increasing relentless confiscation (by the government) of the wealth of the individuals that work very hard every day in this contry.

If the Government confiscates a high enough percentage of our fruits from our labor/hard work eventually the government will take more than we can afford, thereby leaving us with less than we need to meet our basic needs. When this happens we will be forced to depend on the government to supply that which we need to survive. Of course, at this point the government will have complete control over our lives and we will no longer be free; we will no longer choose where we work, if we work, how we work, or when we work; we will no longer choose what we get, when we get it, or if we get it.

If each of us were allowed to benefit from the fruits of our labor we all would have plenty from our work and thereby create more opportunity for those looking to gain their own wealth. However! We only get a small portion from our labor (which gets smaller each and every day); this is caused by forced confiscation of our stuff that we created from our work, thereby reducing our ability to expand our output and reducing our ability to create opportunities for those willing to work for their own wealth and to achieve their own creative abilities.

Hi Don,

Absolutely not! I believe that you have the right to breath clean air over my right to smoke. We don't need the Government to mandate this; this can be a contract between the individuals involved and the owner of the property. If we believe in personal freedom, then we also believe in persoonal responsability.
