Darcy, You just hit the ball out of the park !  Very well done.  Agenda  21 is also connected to Common Core and Rosa Koire talks about that as well.........Common Core is the Government taking over the education of  "all schools".  Home schooling, public schools, private schools, parochial schools, etc..............No one is safe from this........There is a speaker/author coming to give a talk on these subjects on June 25, I'll get back to everyone on the details later...............Stay tuned !

The UN has been working on global plans since the 1970's. Adgenda 21 in a plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the UN wherever there are human impacts on the environment. It is the regulation of land use and mandatory "sustainable" development. Some of the goals are laudable on the face but the truth is that it strips local communities of control over the development of their resources. Communities receive a plan ready to implement and a land trust is created to control development. They make it easy for the local community to embrace the plan including development money and holding information meetings- but in most cases objections to the plan are not heeded. Decisions are made for the greater good of the community and in some cases land owners have not been able to develop their land as they had planned.  The plan is not always called Agenda 21 but the agency implementing this in the US  is ICLEI.  It was given $2 mil by George Soros Open Society Institute. One activist ,who is a liberal democrat, who is lobbying against this program because she sees how it strips communities from local control, is Rosa Koire.  The GOP platform says We strongly reject the UN Agenda 21 as erosive of American sovereignty, and we oppose any form of the UN Global Tax.  For more information, search ICLEI USA, Rosa Koire website-Deomocratsagainstunadgenda21.com  American Policy Center, Facebook groups- stopping un agenda 21.  One of the objectives which sounds good is to develop walkable cities but it is because they want to reduce the number of cars and carbon pollution. Of course increased taxes, fees and regulations are a given.  High density housing are given priority.

I have been absent from here for a while. It is hard to get computer time at home anymore. Yet now I have been promoted at work and have a computer with internet access and time on my hands. Lets start up some fiery debate.

Can anyone here summarize what your fears of Agenda 21 are?  I have Glenn Becks audio tape but don't know if I can stand to listen to him blubber and go into paranoid hysterics for the entire 7 CD package.

I want to thank everyone who attended the Tea Party meeting last night to hear Melanie Kurdys presentation...............She did a very stand-up job.  She made it interesting, to the point and in such a manner that could be easily understood......We appreciate your continued work on education. Darcy, Since many don't get the "News Paper", I thank you for posting here.  This is very important news and I hope those who don't know what Aganda 21 is will learn about it and start to get involved. Don't wait until it comes to your own town. This HAS to be stopped NOW ! We still can make a difference..........One city at a time and one law at a time, we are loosing our grip on America.

Just noticed that one of the candidates for St Joseph City Manager is from Traverse City.  Traverse City is listed as one of the cities that adopted Adgenda 21.  The paper mentions that during his leadership a Recreational Authority was created to buy land to be maintained in the public trust.  Is this a city plan that takes away control from local citizens and puts it into the hands of a planning board tied to a liberal adgenda? I don't know  and I don't know if Mr. Lewis is an agenda 21 supporter but it should be looked into.  I am not a resident of St Joseph but there is a resident meeting on May 10 according to the paper.
