Southwest MI Patriots

Liberty and Freedom

This young Marine, having served two tours in Iraq, was murdered on May 5th in his own home by Sheriff Dupnik's Pima County SWAT team.  They were "serving a search warrant". Really?  He had no criminal record.  There is no doubt more to this story, but big mouth Sheriff Dupnik--who was so quick to blame the Teaparty (you & me) for the Gifford shootings last January is uncharacteristically quiet on this.

If this had happened in Sheriff Joe Arpaio's county the media would have been all over it 24/7.

Maybe if he (Dupnik) had been fired by the voters when he should have been, this Marine might still be alive.

"And as for any concerns about not knowing all the facts in this case, what is at issue is the policy of using SWAT to serve a search warrant on a veteran with no criminal history that is at issue here. The facts related to that decision are clear. And it is that practice that is being used across this nation, in direct conflict with our right to bear arms and our right to defend our homes."

Having trouble with this link, but it will take you to a yahoo news link--

Oathkeepers is organizing a protest/memorial rally on May 30th in Tucson.  If this link does not work, go to the Oathkeepers site for more information.

This is a long read, but worth it:

Dupnik really MUST answer some basic questions. He can't hide behind the "this-would-compromise-the-investigation" bit. The longer he waits, the more the story stinks.

Some more links to the story (the Daily Star piece has some very pertinent questions):
