OH. MY. GOD!! I just came across something so incredibly disgusting, and insulting, that it is a miracle I didn't puke...apparently in this town, in Colorado, the museum in that town is having an art exhibit that is open to the public, people of all ages...now you may wonder, why that's such a big deal, well it's one of the "paintings" in the exhibit.....it's a painting. of Jesus, and another man, having gay, sex....I nearly puked when I read that....that is just plain disgusting, and insulting to Christianity. What's interesting though, is that while there has been a rather large protest in that town, from the Christian population...there was no violence at all....whereas when the TV show "South Park" was going to have a depiction of Mohammed, or however you spell his name, Muslims, Europe and the Middle East, rioted, and there was plenty of violence. That's really fair, isn't it, that when the muslims, see a depiction of their "prophet" even a benign one, they can throw a fit, and be violent....but when Christians, see a depiction of Jesus that actually is insulting, we're supposed to just lay down and take it? (note sarcasm) Double standard anyone?

(32) fabulous photos from Apple Festival Parade under "Photos" tab at top of this page. Thanks for posting Todd. We had a great time. Many people were quite receptive to our mission, some standing and clapping making it easy to know who to approach with flyers and invite them to participate. Thanks also to those supplying vehicles.

The parade was awesome, handed out lots of Tea Party flyers and people LOVED the manure spreader. I will get pictures up soon. A big thank you to everyone that took part in the parade today and continue to bring awareness to many new people.

Obama's interview with Rolling Stone (make sure you have a vomit bag handy):

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/17390/209395

Here's what he had to say about the Tea Party:

" . . . their anger is misdirected.

"And then there are probably some aspects of the Tea Party that are a little darker, that have to do with anti-immigrant sentiment or are troubled by what I represent as the president. So I think it's hard to characterize the Tea Party as a whole, and I think it's still defining itself."

Maybe he should read some mission statements . . .

The Rollling Stone on the Tea Party:

Wildly inaccurate, of course, but hey--we're getting more national media coverage. They have learned to fear us!

Taibbi, the author, clearly has no real grasp of what the Tea Party represents. Somehow, he's concluded that it's Rand Paul's baby.

And apparently he thinks the Tea Party only exists in Kentucky!
