Comment by Sherry Williams on February 1, 2012 at 7:05pm Yes Ray I did receive the following from you on January 25
Sherry, I had attended a planning meeting in Sept and asked to speak, but was denied and listened to socialist propaganda at the following meeting for over an hour.
I wish to speak at this following meeting about and in support of Ron Paul and why the tea party should consider him as the nominee. In addition I would like the see the NDAA discuseed and Upton pressed on his views of the law. I will see you on the 2nd.
In liberty, Ray Kirkus
I appreciate your interest and look forward to seeing you tomorrow night. I apologize for not responding, life has been throwing me a lot of curve balls lately, to say the least. No excuse, but the truth.
Sherry

Sunni scholar al-Qaradhawi calls for gradual implementation of full shari'a law in Egypt. " . . . no cutting off hands for the first 5 years."
Hand chopping begins only after the Egyptian ppl have been schooled in shari'a and after the state takes care of basic needs (shari'a is communist in nature--state control).

Incidentally, Qaradhawi was banned from Egypt under Mubarak, but after Obama had Mubarak killed, the Muslim Brotherhood brought Qaradhawi in to help establish shari'a in Egypt.
Shari'a is always implemented "in stages", according to the principles of the Qur'an. And we are past Stage 1 in America now.
For a fuller understanding of how this works, read Sayyid Qutb's Milestones--the MB's version of Rules for Radicals.
Comment by Ray Kirkus on February 1, 2012 at 8:50am For the record, I emailed Sherry over a week ago as the posts about being on the agenda at the exec meeting were posted here regarding protocol. I hope my email was received as I wished to address the committee in order to speak at the reg meeting. I did not receive a reply and just want to verify that my request was received. See you Thurs.
Comment by Jennifer Groves on January 31, 2012 at 6:02pm If Bachmann was still in the race, I'd be voting for her. But that option is gone :-(
Comment by Ray Kirkus on January 31, 2012 at 8:48am Jennifer, I think your right, but I don't believe Paul is naive. He is an educated man and does understand the threat, but does not perceive it to be to the extremes that some do. On the other hand he can be taught. Idiots do not practice medicine and become experts in economics on their own. Nor do they become congressman who serve multiple terms while refusing to blow with the winds.
Comment by Ray Kirkus on January 31, 2012 at 8:44am Jennifer I'm totally for anyone on the dole to be subject to scrutiny and to make sure they work and not use the entitlements for purposes other than what they are intended for. Abosulutely agree with it and support it.
Comment by Ray Kirkus on January 31, 2012 at 8:41am Gingrich called for Obama care and mandates in 2009.. recording. After you listen to this please convince me that he is conservative or Tea Party material.

Comment by Patricia Gault on January 31, 2012 at 8:33am Jennifer,
Yea, the last sentence in your first paragraph is what some of us here in the TP have been saying for some time. He is the "ONLY" true conservative in the race. A vote for any of the other three is a vote for business as usual. Is that what we want, I think not. Have you heard that his salary will be $39,000 in office cause that's what the base salary is for most Americans. He's not in it for the money, he's in it for Americans.
He has not waffled on his issues for the last twenty or so years. Can't say that for ANY of the others. And his predictions are coming true ie:the Federal Reserve Bank, Fannie and Freddie, etc.
Comment by Jennifer Groves on January 30, 2012 at 9:01pm New MI Senate Bills to Require Drug Testing, Community Service for Welfare Recipients
MI Senate bills 904 and 905 would require drug testing of welfare recipients and require recipients to perform community service. It’s a step—at least a small one—in the right direction, and the left is vocally opposing it (surprise, surprise!). Of course, the state will have to create program administrators for this . . . someone to keep tabs on ppl who aren’t happy to be doing community service, but if enough is required, it might make ppl think twice before applying for “benefits”.

Comment by Jennifer Groves on January 30, 2012 at 8:58pm Shari'a is a clear and present danger to the Constitution. Certainly voting ppl into office who understand that threat is an important goal (one of my concerns with Paul--but he's pretty much the only conservative candidate left at this point).
The most important thing is to know who you're voting for. Obama has brought more Muslims into his admin than any potus before him, and it shows. A DoD anti-terrorism briefing was cancelled in Aug last year when CAIR discovered who the speakers were (Coughlin/Guandolo). C and G equate Islam with terrorism (duh!).
In response, CAIR called the White House and the briefing was immediately canceled. Not only was it canceled, but the WH also announced that it would be re-writing all defense training manuals (FBI, CIA, DoD, etc) so that no connection with Islam and terrorism could be made. In other words, we're not even allowed to talk about the truth now. This is an extremely stupid and dangerous step. And that's what we've gotten with BO in the WH.
Same reasoning applies on state and local levels. It isn't enough to know whether or not the candidate is Muslim, but we also need to know if they are sympathetic to Islam. Will the candidate appoint Muslims or support shari'a?
Consider Dearborn. Muslim chief of police. A Christian group was handing out tracts to ppl at the Arab Festival (but they were not in the festival area itself, just outside on the streets). They've been doing this for 7 or 8 yrs. No hassles until the last couple years, after the Muslim police chief took office. they were arrested and eventually won a lawsuit against the city of Dearborn bec their First Amendment rights were violated. And they aren't the first ones to bring a lawsuit on that city due to de facto sharia taking precedence over our civil liberties.
Hamtramck is another example. 7 or 8 yrs ago, the city council passed an ordinance allowing the call to prayer to be broadcast over loudspeakers. It actually violated Hamtramck's existing noise ordinance. So why did this pass? Because 3 Muslims were elected to the city council.
Local offices often run unopposed (consider precinct delegates). The MB advises Muslims to get involved in local government--and use their power to further jihad. This is happening on school boards, in precinct delegate races, village and town councils, etc. Typically for offices that ppl pay very little attention to. And we pay for that.
I advocate not allowing ppl who support shari'a into this country. If they want shari'a, there are plenty of existing countries they can live in--Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, etc. No one has a "right" to be an American citizen just because they live on earth.
