Jim--do you have bill numbers on the finance reform? The internet bills were separate bills and if they are being tacked on to finance now Americans need to know and protest it.

FYI...I did call Upton's office last night (while watching Glenn Beck) and asked how he was going to vote on the Puerto Rico statehood thing. His aide said he didn't know yet because the bill had not been published yet but did tell me that the last time it came up for a vote Upton voted no.

Now watch the financial reform bill. It includes regulations on the internet. Cas Sunstein is trying to take away the last honest communication venue available to us.

H.R.2499 is a bill to give Puerto Rico to right to self determination. What is that you ask? The have the right to decide if they want to be a state. They (Ruerto Ricans) have already voted on this 4 times BUT not the new progressive party is in charge there and have been pushing this vote doen there. ther are changing the arguement in fine Obama fashion to ask the people if they want to stay like they are(all the benefits of a state and no taxes) or change (heard that word before?). Since some 43% want to become a state they obviously want change so here it comes be a state is the change. This would put the total over 50% and bingo get out the white thread and learn how to stitch a star people. This would give progressives a whole new voting block. The bill also slides convicted felons in as voters too. 58 Republicans have signed on to this bill as cosponsors. Get on the ball and call Upton pronto. I don't know where he stands yet. I thought it better to get this info out first.

Just spoke with MI Citizens for Healthcare Freedom. If you have any completed petitions, please send them in (MI Citizens for Healthcare Freedom, po box 27361, lansing, MI 48909).

Don't wait til the deadline (26 June); they can't wait to receive all of them at the last minute as there will not be time to process all of them.

Thanks for collecting the signatures. If we get 500,000 before the end of June, the amendment will be on the November ballot, and MI residents will be able to opt out of federally-mandated insurance and all fed taxes associated with that.
