Ron Paul is as big an melomaniac as Obama. Sometimes I have to wonder which side he is on. He is a my way or no way person that will vote against a bill because he doesn't like a certain provision. He voted against protecting gun manuafcturers and dealers from lawsuits due to misuse of their product because he didn't like the requirement that gun locks be provided with each new gun sold and the prohibition on armor piercing ammunition. Those amendments were throw in to get the liberals to vote for S397. Ron Paul would rather have thrown the manufacturers and dealers under the bus rather than compromise. How many lawsuits have you seen where gunlocks and armor piercing ammunition were the cause of the suit. These provisions can also be amended out or challenged in a court of law.

The Mi. Concealed carry law was never perfect to begin with but is being improved by amendments. That's how business is done if you want results. Places like the GOA that are all or nothing organizations usually wind up with nothing, then take credit for the work of more responsible and reasonable organizations.

As far as my having no business on this site-who are you to judge. You, who have declared you would not vote for Romney (thus giving Obama another term) have no business judging other peoples committments.

You ,Ray, and Janet can find comfort in each others posts,but as the three of you have complained that no one else seems to listen to you, have you ever considered you might be the problem?

Our soldiers are commiting suicide at a much larger rate than ever before. Could it be that they are learning the truth of why they are REALLY fighting and what the TRUTH surrounding America and the rest of the world REALLY is ?

It's just a question, so don't everyone get all allarmed and have a tizzy or something !

In all reality Al, with the prolonged/ indefinite detention provisions  and kill lists which include US citizens,  Rombama's not far behind them. Only those with closed minds don't want to hear the truths and walk away.. they already know everything they feel they need to know.. too bad for them.

Al, do you fault Ron Paul for sticking it out as long as possible, trying to promote the conservative principles of the Tea Party as long as possible, keeping the debate alive and not caving into the establishment GOP?

That's what he was elected to do!

Isn't that what we're supposed to do? Or should we all go silently into the night and let the powers that be continue to dictate policy to us.

If so sir, you are a phony conservative (which many have long believed) and have no business on this site and are here just stirring up crap.

Have fun with your Flip-Flopping (Pro-Choice, no wait, Pro Life now) candidate.

Give me a break, more of the same from your elected officials, like Upton the 25 year spending machine.

Ray, are Hitler Stalin or Mao running for office anywhere other than in your mind? I imagine when you replied with that statement. you probably got some curious looks as the people walked away from you.

You might want to look in the latest issue of the National Review for the review of the Libertarian convention in Vegas.
