Building the Brand

Building the Brand consists of anything that will get us more recognition and understanding from the general public. Such things as giving classes, holding town halls, giving educational classes, etc.

These are projects we have started in the area of Building the TEA Party Brand. The "Champion" is the person responsible to see the activity through to the finish. He/she may have to recruit others to their cause or may be able to finish the whole project by themselves. To contact them, click on their names and you will get their home page and you can send a message from there.

As we get more information we will build a Forum page for each project to communicate information about them. This will be indicated as Project Forum below.

Project: Set up TEA Party 'clubs' in area High Schools and develop merchandise ideas with the students.

Project: Get our name on the marquee at Alternative Pregnancy Center
Champion: Shirley Amos

Project: Set up citizen lobbyists in the SW Michigan TEA Party Patriots area. The lobbyist will be main contact point between the TEA Party and the legislator and will arrange town halls, communications and recommend actions on various legislation.
Champion: Susan Flowers. I have not actively worked on this as I thought I would when I made the committment. Anyone else want to Lead?

Project: Set up media training for each organization in the area. Object is to take advantage of any media in the area that we can work with.

Project: Set up Adopt-a-Highway activities in as many areas as possible.
