In Berrien County they push their way through like a bull in a china shop and belittle anyone who does NOT comply with their way of running THEIR government !   they cut you down, they ridicule, call names etc, !  That's what happens in Berrien County, Michigan !

I could be confused and I don't want to mislead you, so take what I say with a grain of salt.  I am curious to know how they do things in Berrien County.

Voting, is a primary issue.  Helping people register to vote, and educating people on how to become an informed voter is a goal for all precinct delegates. They also help lead campaigns, and vote on people to be put on the ballot for the primary.

What do you mean help neighbors with local concerns ?  Like helping little ol' ladies cross the street or something ?  :-)

A precinct delegate is a political representative of a local voting precinct. As a precinct delegate, a person can help their neighbors with local concerns.

Thank you very much Gene, I was very happy to be there. It was to bad that so few people showed up. It was frustrating to see that a minority of the counties delegates were present. You would think they would be there seeing as it was one of the more important get togethers in a Precinct Delegate's tenurship. I am just glad that I made it and was able to learn so much and meet so many people.

We only had less than 100 in attendance.  In Oakland Co. they had over 450.  These really need to be planned and executed better as I hope that Kalamazoo Co. will have close to 200 in the future.  We are the 9th most populace county in the state, even though 1/2 are Democrats.  I am glad that you joined in the process.
