Dennis Weber said… Hi Erin ---- As I mentioned today [ 3/21/12]at the GOP PD meeting, my first urge is to know, and not jus have to believe. That comes from being a scientist I guess. My assumption tends to bvelieve that people want to know so they can decide for themselves what they want to be and do. However, I keep running into the situation where people don't want to know, they just want to continue believing what they have been believing in and voting for. I need to know the critical information so I can then make a rational decision in the voting booth and elsewhere. Because of my training, I guess I do not [and would not] make a successful politician which I do not regret. That is why I spend a lot of time hunting for data I can trust and then can make a decision about voting, etc. It is not true that nothing on the Internet can be trusted to be giving trustworthy data. All this is why I admire Ron Paul so much because he knows what is happening and then tries to give citizens the information. I suspect that the reason why Ron Paul does not connect very well with the voters is that he is trying to give information, data, teaching [ as I do ] but people somehow do not want to hear it. I have a very large extended family and there is only me and one other [a former Marine] who decides from data instead of from history [i.e. FDR, etc.] and family voting habits. All of the above is why I try to pass out the D. Horowitz booklets. Horowitz knows what he is saying is true. He has been there and has experienced it. It is very frustrating for me to deal with people who do not want to know or even try to find the data. However, I intend to keep going. I must do what I can so that I am not damned and cursed by by my posterity for not doing what I can to make an America for them to inherit. Reards Dennis Weber

Gene Clem said… Welcome to the web site Erin. I was snowed in (15" out west here) until this afternoon when the plows came through so took a day off: no facebook, email, talk radio..... shoveled snow, cleared it off the roof, filled bird feeders, walked in the snow, took some pictures and just recharged the batteries. Hope you enjoyed the peace of the day.
