TAXPAYER MARCH ON WASHINGTON STREET IN VALPARAISO TO PROTEST GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE

Valparaiso, IN, September 2, 2009 (6 p.m. Central)--Northwest Indiana taxpayers will take to the sidewalks of Valparaiso, Indiana, on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, to highlight their concerns with current health care reform legislation. This group is a gathering of ordinary American citizens from all political affiliations who believe in free-market values who are concerned about the direction of this country’s fiscal policy. They will counter-protest as they march on Washington Street in Valparaiso in a pre-9/12/09 Taxpayer March on DC.

Some have also participated in other peaceful exercises of their First Amendment rights such as previous Tea Party protests like those that received national attention on April 15. But many of the participants are first time political activists rallying to express their anger, frustration, and opposition towards more spending, more government, and the destruction of our free market system, all of which are likely results of government-run health care.
