We will hold the election of Officers to serve on the Van Kal Board for 2012. A full report will be made of the MI4CS (Michigan For A Conservative Senate) meeting held recently. Senator Debbie Stabenow's letter of resignation was signed by 100+ representatives of the Tea Parties and 912 groups of Michigan who attended and it will be mailed this week. Sorting Center for 'A Kalamazoo Christmas' is Open at Sorting Center

Every year we obtain new and slightly used coats to give out at the event the week before Christmas. This year Pastor Ron has obtained space for us to sort and label the coats (and toys and blankets, etc) at 213 Helen St. which is just West of Portage behind Bravo's Restaurant. On Monday, MArch 14, the House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on the NEW extension of the Continuing Resolution to fund the government. Just this week Representatives Michelle Bachman and Steve King reported that the House leadership has not yet agreed to include a provision to rescind the $105 Billion that was sureptitiously inserted by the Democrat Party into the Obamacare legislation passed last year. This provision must be stopped.
