The Adopt a Highway program is exercised on Federal and State Highways. Trash is picked up three times a year, generally in April, July, and September and may be done anytime in the designated week. If you choose a different week you would be required to dispose of the trash yourself, other wise the State Hwy. Dept. will pick up the trash. Dear Representative Bauer:----- I noticed that you co-sponsored a bill that would raise our gas tax by 8 cents a gallon. We don't need the Obama Bucks so bad as to have to live with all the attachments that come with the Obama Road Repair Bucks. ie sidewalks, bike paths literature on safety, etc. I am asking that you withdraw your sponsorship of the tax increase bill.
