As you know, there is a program set up by the federal government where in you may purchase some of these 'toxic assets' that have bogged down banks. The idea is that you could buy at say, 30% of perceived market value then wait until the 'market' comes back and sell at a profit. This will off load banks and allow them to go back to making loans.

A few minor changes to Dump 'Em All:
Dump 'em all! Dump 'em all!
They're sure as hell not on the ball!
Dump all the Socialists, Marxists and libs,
Dump all the con men including "his nibs"
For he can't walk on water at all,
Wimps out on that 3 AM call,
Our country's near broke and our dollar's a joke,
So next time we vote DUMP 'EM ALL!

During the initial space flights, Nasa discovered that biro pens didn’t work under zero gravity conditions. To beat the problem, Nasa spent 6 years and $2 million in designing a pen for use in space. The pen would work under zero gravity conditions due to the pressurized ink inside, it would work under sub zero conditions, underwater, on glass and virtually any surface known to man. The Russians used a pencil.

From Wall Street Journal:
In a desperate scramble to pay for the soaring costs of President Obama's health care plan, the Senate Finance Committee is contemplating taxing for the first time the health insurance benefits workers get from their employers. One approach would tax the benefits only of workers earning over $100,000. An alternate proposal would tax the value of health care benefits that exceed a cap.
But the taxes wouldn't be applied equally. Union members… Continue

There's an old song with multiple versions that crowds of Brits and Yanks sang together, swaying arm in arm, in the London music halls during the Second World War. This is one of many versions:
Bless 'em all! Bless 'em all! Bless 'em all!
The long and the short and the tall!
Bless all the sergeants we have to obey,
Bless all the corp'rals who drill us all day,
'Cuz we're sayin' goodbye to them all,
As back to their barracks they crawl,
No ice cream… Continue
