After reading some letter to the editor from a local paper, I want to share with everyone how we can ALL jump on local newspapers online to comment/influence public opinion.

Thanks to all who critiqued my letter in the forum posting. I decided to hone it down to 400 words (actual count is 399) and submit as letter to the editor from plain ol' ME. This way I can perhaps get it into more papers. Also, I expect it to be an example and a catalyst for others to write letters to the editor. I have tried to be assertive but not aggressive.
