A New Hope

I was asked to share this on the website. I actually wrote this to the people on my email list.

Dear Fellow Patriots:

Once again, I write to you all with a heavy heart, but a new resolve that we will fight this fight to the bitter end. Last night as we gathered for the returns on the primaries, one of the ladies talked of a video about our first President, George Washington. As she was sharing the content of this video, she and another dear friend said "Victory or Death" that is our battle cry! I took that to heart.

I know many of us have been praying, trusting and seeking God. We so wanted a victory for Jack Hoogendyk and we so did NOT want Rick Snyder to win, but here we are. A new day. With "Victory or Death" ringing in my ears, I am more determined than ever to have an influence on this government. I intend to fight to the very end to prevent our country from the wave of socialism and communism that seems to be at work in every area of our government. Upton does not deserve to be a congressman since he does not represent the people, yet he, like so many others have a political machine and funds that can surpass us. But here's the thing. In history just before the greatest victories there was always a bleak outlook. You have to ask yourself, when they were going through those circumstances at that moment realize that the greatest victory was right around the corner? Or did they press on because it was the right thing to do and the outcome didn't matter as long as they kept their eye on the goal? I think probably the latter since no one has crystal ball and can predict the future.

Today, that is the question we have to answer. Are we just going to throw our hands in the air and say we can't win? Or are we going to shake the dust from our shoes, straighten ourselves up and press on, not knowing what the future holds, but knowing that we will die for "the right thing". It is so much easier not to get involved. It is so much easier to go back to sitting on the couch and complaining. It is so much easier to ignore those around us and act as if "somehow" everything will work out. You can only fool yourself for so long and then you will sink into despair.

But there is "A New Hope". God is still on his throne and Jesus is still the redeemer of souls and we still have breath to pray. So we must begin with prayer, every morning and every night. Then we formulate our plan and take over the republican party. There has to be more of us than there is of them. We plan our takeover and move into action. Our plan may take longer than we expected, but ultimately, we will win. Jesus Christ is our hope and our strength.

So Dear Friends, DO NOT Give up, but press on. We have only lost one small battle in a larger war. We cannot sit back and say it is up to someone else. Even though voter response was less than what it should have been, here at my work, nearly every single person voted! That is astonishing to me because two years ago none of them were voting. Just think if each of us has influence like that on only 20 people and because of that influence they influence just 10 more! You know the rest. It takes one committed person sharing passionately, respectfully and intelligently, to influence another person and the next thing you know you have a whole town behind you. Will you be that one? Are you willing to sacrifice time with your family, your personal time, your own money to help with the cause? Time and again I have chosen to do things to further this cause when I could have been spending time with my family. But I realized that if I don't fight now what will happen to my family in the future?

I challenge you, do not fall away, do not stop working, but get ready, we still have a fight on our hands and it is a fight for America. What are you willing to do for your country. May God Bless America and May God Bless each one of you.

Victory or Death.....

Nicely put! Did the men at the wall in New Orleans run away when thousands of red coats were comming their way in the war of 1812? That was our second war and we have had many since. Do we fight on or at some point do we give up. The struggle to defeat freedom will always exist.
