FDR, Mussolini, and Hitler adopted the Keynesian idea that the amount of national debt was irrelevant, since government could simply print more money. They chose government borrowing and spending as a means of improving their national economies. Since there was, under Keynesian theory, no ceiling on national debt, they sought projects which would decrease unemployment. One project they found that had the most popular support was national defense.

After the 1937-38 depression within the Great Depression, FDR asked manufacturers and labor to cooperate with his administration to reduce unemployment. They agreed. Congress gave him a blank check. That was the beginning of America’s second 20th century attempt at fascism, World War One being the first. After WW 2 nitrate manufacturers, seeking new markets for their products, turned to nitrate based fertilizers. In Eisenhower’s 1961 Chance for Peace speech he warned of the emerging military-industrial complex. The US government was and is the defense industry’s biggest customer.

In Germany, Hitler decreased unemployment by borrowing and spending for war preparations…national defense. The ratio of soldiers to armaments and munitions workers was some 1 to 10. In 2 years prior to 1936 he reduced unemployment by 7 million people.

With BHO’s New Year’s Eve signing of the NDAA of 2012, we are one step closer to fascism in America. We are only one Executive Order away from dictatorship. Every other measure is in place except for national conscription. Suspension of habeas corpus, indefinite detention, American soil defined as a battlefield, unarmed (so far) drones for surveillance of “persons of interest”, and the definition of terrorists are all at the discretion of the Commander In Chief.

Levin, Stabenow, and Upton all voted “yea” for the NDAA. Levin and Upton claim the amendments are misinterpreted. Why then did BHO think it necessary to attach a signing statement to the bill, saying he would not exercise the amendments? Yet Levin claims the President insisted on the amendments.

Bob King, president of the UAW, has stated that he favors cooperation among business, labor, and government. That’s pure fascism.

Government bailouts are called “investments”, a definition previously used by FDR’s administration during the Great Depression. That’s pure fascism.

Fascism American style is not coming, it’s here! Vote accordingly!

I thought the Tea Party wanted to get rid of Levin, Stabenow and Upton ...........It appears to me that they will voting of more of the same if they vote for Romney, Gindrich or Santorum............(It also appears that they have a cozy relationship with Upton)............?????

McCain was co-sponsor of the NDAA and IS a member of CFR.....Yet he endorsed Gindrich...........??????

Gindrich said that if he were president he would have signed NDAA (same as Obama).....?????

Gindrich is a member of the CFR......?????

Romney said that if he were president he would have signed the NDAA.........?????

Upton voted yes on the NDAA and then lied about what the "true" content was ................?????

Romney's father was a member of the CFR (I don't figure the apple falls far from the tree)...........A lot of times these members take their names off the CFR membership list while they are running for office........That's what Dick Cheney did. If this organization is on the up & up why would they do that ...............????

Santorum, Gindrich, Romney.....................flip flop, fight, lie, big government,sigh bills taking away our freedom............??????

During the campaign they call each other names, liar, cheat, you voter for this, you voted for that, no I didn't, yes you did, no not me.............bla, bla, bla,...........then when they drop out of the race they turn around and endorse each other and everybody gets all "fuzzy" inside and votes for them.........example: Perry endorsed Gindrich or was it Romney...I don't know which one ? does it really matter which one ..LOL</</body>
