Events Commitee : Upcoming Events in SWMI

Hi all you happy people. Ready to get out there and start passing out pamplets and talking to people? Here is the upcoming events in South West Michigan that we need to either get to ourselves, or get volunteers to go to. Now I will have to work with the platform committee to put together fliers, and Idealy we will be wearing TEA Party shirts when we get out there, So I started with events two weeks out from here that will give us time to get ourselves together. We need to maybe have a meeting to reherse answering questions in a Pithy and Intellegent way. (Especially as Dear Bruce reminds me that I can be a bit verbose lol :)

These are pretty much it on the Two Calenders that I checked for May, however June through September are REALLY busy and will keep us moving. By then we will have the new website and I will post everything I can find up there. If we train volunteers we should be able to cover alot of ground. I Would love to set up a meeting time for us to get together and come up with a plan for moving forward and getting ourselves organized, so give me a shout out.

June through September is chock full of car shows, boat shows, crafts fairs, county fairs, tractor pulls, quilting bees, and just about everything else you can think of. We can treat the May Gatherings like a dry run for a very busy summer :) I call the boat shows lol.

I am going to start a blog with some tips on recruiting and a couple of scripts that hopefully will help. I invite people to use this as a forum to add their thoughts and questions we can ask potential recruits.

You know, if I am not terribly busy I would love to go. Don't know if I could help with organization though. Will have to see how other stuff goes. But it would be really great to go with alot of other people!
