Preacher Arrested for Saying Homosexuality is Immoral

A street preacher was arrested in England for saying that homosexuality was immoral.

He was arrested by police after a nearby "Police Community Support Officer" (PCSO) contacted them. The PCSO was the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) liaison officer for the police. The officer's complaint was that he and others were "distressed" by the preacher's words.

Under the liberal banner, “community” has become just another word for communism. Liberals ruin words at every turn.

The preacher was later released on bail on condition that he not preach in public. He is awaiting trial. Hmmm.... why does this sound familiar?!

As one Reverend put it:

‘As far as I am concerned, this is about free speech. If we arrested everybody who said something we found offensive, everyone would be in prison.’

The article includes references to several other recent stories where Christians were arrested in England for “offending” or “distressing” someone by speaking the truth. When did freedom of speech disappear in England?

As England goes, so goes the USA--unless we stop it. Liberals are not the only ones who have rights and they have to be constantly reminded of that fact.

The police were wrong in arresting the preacher, as was the PCSO who denied the man his right to free speech, the police officers who wrongfully arrested him, and the judicial system that is not dismissing the charges. The officers should be relieved of duty and charged with wrongful arrest and denying freedom of speech.
