Sentor Stabenow and President Obama has declared war on Religion

President Obama and Debbie Stabenow are throwing our God given rights out the window. Once gone we may never get them back. ·

 George Washington as Commander of this young Nation believed that divine intervention was the way to fight tyranny. Many of our past fallen soldiers trusted in Providence and gave their lives for our freedom.  I believe President Obama and Debbie Stabenow have declared war on God, the U.S. Constitution, and religious rights. I believe this problem has become so severe that it is now time for us turn to the intervention of God to help restore our freedoms in this country.  On February 22nd will be the first day of lent, I am hoping and praying for all you to fast and prayer on this day. If this day is impossible there are forty days from now until Easter.  I am asking everybody to join with me and pick a day that they can devote to prayer and fasting. I have personally decided to perform a 40 day fast and prayer. Would love to hear from all those deciding to do one meal, one day, one week or any amount of time. 

 I have walked this journey a couple of times in my life. My decision to do it again was reinforced Monday when listening to a reading about a young man and his father who came to Jesus and the young man was possessed with demons.  The apostles tried to cure the young man, unsuccessfully. When the father asked Jesus to perform a miracle Jesus said, “those that believe will be healed” and Jesus drove the demons out of his son.  Afterwards the apostles asked Jesus why they could not perform that miracle and Jesus answered “that some demons can only be driven out by prayer and fasting” I truly believe that the HHS mandates that have come down go contrary to every value of this country and our Constitution.  Below is an excerpt from a speech I gave in Traverse City on February 18th

 “Mr. President we don’t need accommodations for Christianity; we have The Declaration of Independence….President Obama accommodations are not what we need, we need you to rescind ObamaCare and stop trampling on our RIGHTS ….If not done, Mr. President, when these fine people elect me as their Senator, my first order of business will be to draw up an article of impeachment for violation of constitutional duty and to let everyone know that the freedoms that God has bestowed on all of US, cannot and will not be forfeited.”Remember we are a government of the people, by the people; the individuals we send to Washington are there to serve We the People….us."

 

There are three ways our government can fix this problem. In fact, all three branches can repair this erosion of our freedom .The President, by Executive Order can write it out of existence, The Congress can draw up an article of Impeachment for all those that swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and have violated that oath, or the Supreme Court can hear the case and judge it to be unconstitutional. I am asking you to pass this (fast request) on to everyone you know to ask for divine intervention in solving this problem of losing our religious rights under ObamaCare and to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) and its mandates, without accommodations. I hope I did not give you the impression that its OK for a Republican to pass law outside the Constitution.... Like Bush did with prescription drugs , or patriot act or the fact that the government doesn't believe in free markets so it does bail outs our government  has moved our country to socialism and through all the programs we now have a 16 trillion dollar deficit, we need to elect people that can think outside the political box and believes in the constitution and knows that Americans problems are not solved through higher taxes.

Vet First:  I'm aware of support for impeachment.  How much support I don't know.  When it comes to relying on "divine intervention" for much of anything, I may not agree with what you say, but I put my life on the line to defend your right to say it. 

Brett:  Agreed.  The left/right liberal/conservative paradigm is less useful than the understanding and veracity of any given proposition.   Belief or any belief system can be arrived at by any number of ways:   revealed religion, orthodox  religion, science, acculturation, or any  ideology.    One of the beauties of our Constitution and Declaration is that they allow for divergent beliefs to coexist.  One area of contention  is interpretation of the Constitution.   For example, unitary executive theory.   (See my blog post "Hamilton vs Jefferson" on that issue.)   I am of the opinion that the further we diverge from a strict interpretation, as Ron Paul advocates, the more "lost" we become as a nation.

So did George Bush with his violations of our constitution and bill of rights with the Patriot Act. Wake up from the left/right paradigm both sides are destroying our country. Welfare on one side...Warfare on the other.
