Liberty and Freedom
Tennessee is the latest state to join the anti-shari’a bandwagon; OK, WY, and TX have pursued and are continuing to pursue similar legislation.
“A conservative group has put together the boldest legal attempt yet to limit how Muslims worship in America."
Of course the media take on this is infringing First Amendment rights. They conflate law with religion, following the Islamic practice of mixing state and religion.
Tennessee Repubs are trying to outlaw an unconstitutional system of law: shari’a. This should be a no-brainer.
“The Tennessee group, led by Republican Senator Bill Ketron, 57, has proposed a bill to make following some versions of Sharia law a crime punishable by 15 years in jail.”
A more accurate assessment of the bill and links to the bill itself:
Note that “Sarah Thompson (a spokeswoman for the Islamic Society of North America. . .)”, who was interviewed for the story, is female--ISNA’s way of saying that Islam believes in equal rights for men and women (NOT!). ISNA also wants their PR reps in America to have English names because that plays better to Western audiences.
Just remember that ISNA is STILL part of the Muslim Brotherhood and STILL an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the largest terrorism trial in U.S. history (which never made it onto the news, btw). They are “unindicted” because of ties their leaders have to current and past presidential administrations. Can’t have the White House consorting with terrorists—makes for bad PR.
If Muslims aren’t trying to take over the country, then these laws against shari’a should not pose a problem for them. They are only problematic for Muslims if Muslims PLAN on imposing shari’a on America.
