All of this is overwhelming me

As a human race

What have we done?

The disaster hits everyone

I can't even cry

The tears don't come

It's all too much

What have we done?

Powers at hand

Won't let us be

And we walk around

Thinking that were free

Talking like were invincible

Refusing to see the cage were in

So turn on your TV

Stay plugged in

Play your games

Cause you know you'll win

But the real fight

Will never be fought

The fight for freedom

We forgot

That freedom is lost

If it is not kept up

We turned our back

Let the government rule

What's best for us

Hoping they'd remember the golden rule

But they don't care

The powers at hand

Want it all

We are on their land

They want it back

They spray our airs

They taint our water

Slowing our brains

Forced medicine when nature knew

Exactly what we needed to do

The truth is there

But it is too

Blinding to see

So keep on watching your reality TV.

This is why

I can't even cry

Cause it's all too much

We live we die and

Leave our children with what

Things that we did not address

Now the mess is bigger yet

When will it end?

When will we see?

It is our responsibility
