36 Hours to Campaign Finance Deadline
President Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Mark Schauer have made their choice. Instead of listening to the American people, they
decided to enact into law a trillion dollar government takeover of
health care that will raise taxes, reduce access to care, and ultimately
increase our national debt.
Now, is the time for us to choose. We can either let
their health care takeover stand or we can fight even harder to defeat
them at the ballot box in November so we can stop this terrible
legislation. I am choosing to
fight even harder, but I need your help. If you

Only two days after Mark Schauer voted for the health care bill, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
hosted a fundraiser for him in Washington D.C. Because
Schauer did the bidding of the left, they are and will continue
shoveling money into his campaign account. I need
your financial support so we can share our message, defend against the
distortions they will undoubtedly level against us, and win this very
important election.
My record of working for less government spending, lower taxes, free-market health care
reforms, and defending our values and supporting our troops compares
starkly with Mark Schauer's record of voting for trillion dollar
deficits, a national energy tax, and a government takeover of health
care. We can recapture this
seat and help put in place a conservative majority in the U.S. House of
Representatives, but I need your continued support. If

As a note, I was in Washington D.C. for a few days last week garnering more support for our campaign and meeting with former
colleagues. Among conservatives in the U.S.
House, there is a renewed energy and passion to win a conservative
majority in the U.S. House in November. In conversations with proven
conservatives like Mike Pence, Michele Bachmann, Paul Ryan, Peter
Roskam, Joe Wilson and with the support of leading Michigan Members Dave
Camp and Candice Miller, they have assured me they want me back in the
U.S. House working with them on behalf of our nation. The stakes could not be higher for our nation, and citizens
across the nation are witnessing and rejecting the big government, tax
hiking liberal agenda that runs counter to our values. These conservative members were very pleased to hear
about the momentum for our campaign and implored us to continue working
hard, to continue raising money, and to continue standing strong for the
principles that are the bedrock of our nation.
