Sherry,
Sue and I are on our way back from Restoring Love.
We are charged up and will share with you all we learned.
We should be back in Michigan on Tuesday.
Hi Sherry - I don't usually get involved in politics, but I feel a real calling to help defeat Obama! So if can help on a local level, please let me know.
Thanks Sherry, I have it in my mind that taking on the Chairmanship of the Ingham County TPP that I will do the best I can to bring folks together that share common TPP values.
Thanks Sherry; I'll remain a member of Southwest Patriots. My only concern was that we live over on the east coast of the state and we may not make it to many events. You're so right about being in this together. These past several years I have become very aware that our government is growing at an out of control rate. The media, entertainment and academia in America are the PR system for the people causing all the damage. The only hope for preserving our wonderful America is to become informed, get engaged and remain engaged in the battle to return the nation to the hands of the citizenry.

I was at the Barry County meeting Thursday - was not disappointed in what I saw. Hope I can contribute - I have to limit my involvement, as my hearing allows me to understand very little of what is said.

Hi Sherry
I am a member of the VanKal Patriots, part of the Southwest Michigan TPP. I am currently on the steering committee and have volunteered to serve as a member of the BOD. The VanKAL Patriots is the name of the group that is located in Kalamazoo and VanBuren Counties. I assume that Gene Clem has mentioned the organization to you.
Regards Dennis Weber
Thanks for the welcome Sherry. I do what I can. Fortunately or unfortunately, I work 6 days a week and several evenings. So attending events is problematic.
I used to be a "small government" republican, back when that meant something, if it ever did. Now I am a Libertarian and much happier. I recognize that neither party has the answer to everything, and personal responsibility counts for a lot. I think my church and my charitable donations are far more efficient at helping people improve their lives than any big government program.
Anyway, it's easy to get carried away.
I am pretty well informed on the federal and state races than I can vote on, but am pretty weak on county level politics. Anybody have any insight on Cass county people that we want to encourage or throw out? I am slowly figuring out who is in the Cass Co. group and have sent a couple questions out, but no responses yet.
Thanks for the welcome Sherry,
I am having a problem in finding contact information for groups near my area. I keep coming up with the KZoo TEA Party website but there is not a place to contact a leader or member. Maybe there is and I am just not sure how to navigate the site. If you have any names or contacts you could hook me up with in the Allegan, KZoo area, that would be great. I actually live in Plainwell so Otsego would be close too.
Thanks,
Cindy

Just a beginner. I have attended two meetings in Coldwater, MI.
Perhaps attending meetings in Kzoo will broaden my understanding; hoping to find an opportunity to make a difference.

Thanks for the information. I already signed-up for the Ingham County group and it looks like they are meeting soon.
Thank you Sherry,
