My first jobs were babysitting and cleaning, too. It's disgusting that sitting on your butt collecting a paycheck the government has stolen from someone else has become more "honorable" than working. At least in some minds :-/

Jennifer, Thanks so much for this posting ............I for one, worked for my parents............At 10, I cleaned toilets at our grocery store and aslo at home.  Because I was very good at cleaning toilets and cleaning in general, I soon got a job cleaning for the neighbor and also babysitting at the age of 11...............Of course SOME people are to good for such work............Also there are laws against Children working these days............I guess they are better off hanging on the streets with their pants down to their knees showing off their sexy underpants. LOL

I would LOVE to get a bunch of "grannies" together and do this "pants thingy" and see what the reaction would be ?  Any takers ?   LOL
