Joyner appears to have one misunderstanding, though: Muslims CANNOT reject shari'a law. Shari'a is based directly on the Qur'an, Hadith, and Sira, therefore if they reject shari'a, they are rejecting the foundation of Islam. If they reject shari'a, they are not Muslim. And Muslims who deny this in reality know they are only fooling themselves.
